Steak Butter
When it’s grilling time, there’s nothing better than a good steak, and here are a couple of great recipes to make that steak even better. It’s steak butter, and the combination of creamy butter, fresh herbs, and seasonings makes a mouthwatering flavor that can’t be beat.
Garlic and Rosemary Steak Butter
- ½ cup butter, softened (one stick)
- One or two cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Juice of half a lemon
Thoroughly combine butter with all ingredients. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Transfer cooked steaks to a platter, top them with some of the butter, cover with aluminum foil, and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Blue Cheese and Thyme Steak Butter
- ½ cup butter, softened (one stick)
- ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Thoroughly combine butter with all ingredients. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Transfer cooked steaks to a platter, top them with some of the butter, cover with aluminum foil, and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.
