Turtle Ice Cream Dessert

Here’s something to cool you off on a hot day. I served this recipe to my supper club recently, and everyone went crazy for it. It’s so simple, but with ingredients like caramel and ice cream sandwiches, it can’t help but be delicious. I think it’s the perfect treat during the hot summertime.

  • 17 ice cream sandwiches
  • 1 12.25 oz jar caramel topping
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 12 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 11.75 oz jar hot fudge topping, heated

Place 8 ½ ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9X 13” pan, spread caramel topping over the top, sprinkle with 1 cup pecans, top with 2 cups whipped topping. Layer the remaining ice cream sandwiches and spread the remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining pecans on top. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze at least 2 hours. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares. Drizzle each square with hot fudge sauce and enJOY!
