Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate
When there’s a chill in the air or during the holiday season, this recipe is perfect. Great for parties too. It’s a make ahead that your guests will love.
- 8 cups heavy cream, divided
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 8 cups whole milk
- 28 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 24 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
Add 4 cups of heavy cream and the unsweetened cocoa a large slow cooker. Using a whisk, mix for several minutes until the powder is fully combined.
Add 4 more cups of heavy cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla. Stir until everything is mixed.
Place the slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours. Stir every 20-30 minutes until the chocolate is melted and fully combined.
Keep on the warm setting for up to 3 hours for serving.
