Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball with Pecans
This is a fun recipe I know all kids and “kids at heart” will enJOY. It’s great served with fresh apple slices, ginger snaps, or pretzels.
- ½ cup butter (one stick)
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch salt
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
In a mixing bowl mix together butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and salt. Add powdered sugar in batches, about ¼ cup at a time. Fold in chocolate chips. Chill 2 hours. Form into a ball and roll in chopped pecans coating the outside of the ball. Serve with ginger snaps, vanilla, pretzels, apple slices, or graham crackers.
