Small Square Sliders

I have to admit I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when I first tasted these small square sliders. They reminded me so much of a Krystal Burger, pickle and all. What fun would this be for dinner tonight or for your next tailgate? You’ve got to try these! enJOY!

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 package dry Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 12 dill pickle chips
  • 1 package of 12 Hawaiian rolls

In a large sauté pan, brown ground chuck and drain well. Add drained ground chuck back to the sauté pan and stir in mayonnaise, onion soup mix, and grated cheese. Cook on medium heat until most of the cheese is melted.

Using a serrated bread knife, cut the entire package of Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise. Place a pickle on each roll. Add cooked ground beef mixture and cover with the top half of the rolls. Wrap with aluminum foil and place in a preheated 350-degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Serve immediately.
